No two projects are the same. When circumstances require an innovative approach there may be conflict with rigid legislation, requiring application for Ministerial exemption. We assisted Goodline with this scenario for the Mission River Bridge refurbishment in far north Qld, involving asbestos and leaded paint. Our people had previously obtained a Ministerial exemption for asbestos removal in Western Australian during demolition of a stadium, championing the best solution for the community, stakeholders and environment.

With additional direction on asbestos and lead removal techniques, environmental monitoring, legislative compliance and supplier capability, we assisted Goodline with establishing the strategy and team to complete the works efficiently, despite the inherent challenges posed by the nature and location of the works.
